Alder cones are a great natural remedy for your aquarium. They release tannins and humic acids that gently lower the pH level, soften the water, and act as a natural antiseptic against bacteria and fungi. They are especially useful for shrimp, catfish and fish that come from tropical waters. How to use correctly Dosage: Usually take 5–10 pieces per 100 liters of water (or 1 cone per 10 liters for small shrimp farms).
